The annual Peterborough End of Term / Post Grading semi-formal dinner and celebration will be held the night of the Ontario senior grading. Members from all Jitsu Canada clubs and their guests are welcome to attend.

The dinner will be held at Hot Belly Mama's - drinks at 8pm, dinner at 8.30pm. Olde Stone beer on tap! Cost for dinner is $30 per person; this includes appetizer, entree, dessert, taxes and gratuity. Beverages extra! Under 19 of age welcome but no alcohol.

Congratulations to everyone who battled through the weather to attend the Provincial Course last weekend.

The National course is fast approaching... November 10th & 11th at Carleton University in Ottawa. Two days training with senior Jitsu Canada instructors.

All the websites are now back online. There are still a few issues to resolve and a few more features to add (see below) -- if you find other problems please let me know. There are a number of major changes, including:

• New Jitsu Toronto site (http://www.jitsutoronto.com).
• New menu (hopefully easier to navigate).
• Updated Gallery software which adds a load of new features such as tags, easier uploading of photos, ...
• New private messaging feature (kind of like e-mail but without displaying email addresses). This is available to registered members. The contact pages for users have been removed.
• New "Recent Content" block.
• New "Tags Cloud" block which uses text size to show the most frequently used tags.
• Changed the Jitsu Site selection process. This will be a much easier "One Site" or "All Sites" selection. Still to do.

The Peterborough end of semester / grading celebration semi-formal dinner will be held Saturday March 31st at 7pm at Cervante's Restaurant, Hunter St, Peterborough. Out of town visitors here for the grading during the day are of course welcome to attend. Cost is $30 including tax & gratuity (beverages extra). The menu is attached.
